It would be incredibly helpful to have an option within the auto-kickoff or batch creation flow that allows B-roll to be automatically added to all generated shorts. Right now, we’re manually going into each short clip and inserting B-roll one by one—which is time-consuming and inefficient, especially when producing content at scale.
Use Case:
We create short-form clips from podcast interviews, and while the automatic generation is great, we currently have to manually edit each one to add relevant B-roll. Being able to toggle a setting during auto-generation (or in bulk afterward) that inserts appropriate B-roll—based on transcript context or predefined themes—would streamline our workflow significantly.
Developer Notes & Suggestions:
Auto B-Roll Toggle: Add a setting in the auto-kickoff flow or batch tools that enables automatic B-roll injection per short.
B-Roll Matching Engine: Consider building (or integrating) a basic semantic matcher that selects relevant B-roll clips based on keywords or context in the transcript.
Bulk Editor UI/UX: A bulk-editing dashboard or timeline interface that lets users apply or preview B-roll across multiple shorts would help power users.
B-Roll Source Configuration: Optionally allow users to upload their own library of branded or themed B-roll assets to be pulled from automatically.
Fallback Behavior: If no relevant B-roll match is found, fallback to a branded default or looped video.
This enhancement would save our team a significant amount of manual effort and create a much faster turnaround for delivering polished, engaging clips.
